Nature Posters

If you're like me you need visual inspiration surrounding you. I love minimalism, but I'm not one for bare walls. Walls are one thing that I feel free to clutter up a bit with beautiful posters, our nature finds, and even odds and ends with different textures that are pleasing to the eye.

There's a couple of beautiful resources that are right at our fingertips - both very affordable.

The first one I'd like to mention is available from USDA Forest Service,

Small Poster, 8 1/2" x 11" Set of 15 for $6.00

Large Poster 20" x 30", Set of 15 for $16.50

I've only purchased the small ones, but I can tell you they're beautiful. The nice thing about the small ones is they're easily laminated (to keep them safe to be handled by littles) & they can be displayed simply with the use of an inexpensive clipboard. I have a clipboard display in my living room where I clip up our latest Art Study or some of my latest designs with sayings & inspirational quotes, or whatever floats your boat.

Either of these options make me swoon. And the good news is you can find these clipboards for about $1.20 at Walmart, or buy them in bulk on Amazon, >>> Here  (This is an affiliate link, while it costs you nothing extra, I do see a small bit of income if you purchase from it. See my Full Disclosure Policy Here <<< )

That being said, if you had more room the large ones would make a beautiful impact and you could even just alternate them and only have a few up at a time. Like so...

These are the kinds of photos that give me serious inspiration.

The second option I'm choosing to highlight for the moment might make ya'll giggle a little, because they're actually wrapping paper. Cavallini wrapping paper to be precise. They are gorgeous. I have purchased a couple dozen at this point, because I may be addicted to their vintage feel. I have purchased them from papersource.com, let me tell you their customer service is great (they sent replacements when my 2nd order showed up rolled incorrectly)! The posters are thick and sturdy and could be placed in a poster frame, or easily made into a hanging poster with a quick tutorial. And added bonus to the beauty of these posters is they're a mere $5.95/ea & they're 20" x 28". I don't know why they made them as wrapping paper, because it would probably mentally & physically hurt me to cut or tape these beautiful things around a gift...

Or, displayed below are just a few of my absolute favorites, to give you a nice visual representation... These are also ones, subsequently, that are sitting waiting for me to hang as I type this.

These make for amazing resources in whatever Nature Study you choose to go with your Charlotte Mason Home Education. They aren't necessarily a need, but you could argue that when you can't be outside it's great to be surrounded by things that remind you of nature.

There are more posters than you use for just Nature Study also. Below are a few you can use for Science topics, like Space & Chemistry...

And this one I've been eyeballing -- because I want to learn Sign Language as apart of our "Foreign Language" studies, although I'm not sure it counts as a foreign language?

Contrary to what you may be thinking, this is not all of them. So, if you don't find one you have to have here, you will undoubtedly find one if you browse through their entire Cavallini Wrap section.

If you'd like to see a few of those tutorials here are a few options for that:
